2019 World Cosplay Summit Dutch Representatives!
ME AND KaoruLily (https://www.deviantart.com/kaorulily) WON THE WORLD COSPLAY SUMMIT PRELIMS AND ARE GOING TO REPRESENT THE NETHERLANDS IN 2019!!
Guess I can already mark that one down on my bucket list of impossible dreams...
During Animecon, june this year, me and my duo Kaoru Lily had our long awaited performance, wearing our Fullmetal Alchemist costumes of Roy Mustang and Edward Elric.
I had a blast during the whole weekend  and I can't be more thankful to my supportive superhero husband TheEyeProjects (https://www.deviantart.com/theeyeprojects), which we would have been nothing without.
This is the video of our performance, please watch it if you're interested :)
Thanks for reading!
YCCI Finals and Back from Brazil
So, after a long and deserved rest, let's finally talk about Anime Friends and everything that's been happening. Long text coming...
If you don't know what I'm talking about. I've been at São Paulo, Brazil, from Friday to Sunday (7th to the 9th of July) to take part of the finals from a cosplay competition called Yamato Cosplay Cup International (in short, YCCI). Although I am in fact born in Brazil, I was there representing the Netherlands, because that's the country where I'm living since some years now.
Since last year when I was selected for the finals, I've been having butterflies in my stomach. I've been extremely happy, but also
Young Link cosplay and winning YCC preliminaries
All right, it's been a while so hi there! Many things happened this last weekend.
I've managed to finish my young Link cosplay, made new the photos that you see here and also gave it a try at the YCC (Yamato Cosplay Cup) in the Netherlands this weekend at the Animecon convention.
Since I still didn't wake up from this dream, I guess it must be true.... WE* WON the YCC preliminaries from the Netherlands!
WE* ARE GOING TO BRAZIL!!

What a crazy weekend that was.... I've seen all our friends again and everything was so much fun, I wouldn't have expected this to be the cherry on top of
